The 11th Global Mural Conference is to take place September 12-15 2018. Planning for this International Event is on going. To  date signs have been erected on the eastern and western approaches to the Botwood turnoff (Hwy. 350) on the Trans Canada Hwy. In addiition 120 full colour posters have been pinted with 20 currently with G.M.C. delegates in Hua Quan China. Letters have gone out to three service clubs requesting use of their buildings as conference venues.

Local church groups have volunteered to prepare traditional "Newfoundland/Labrador" meals for conference delegates

Delegates will be greeted on Wednesday Sept 12th with registration taking place at the former airbase during which they will be presented with a handmade tote bag courtesy of the Women's Institute. Light refreshment will also be provided.
